NBFAA Set to Hold Elections
NBFAA will soon be holding elections for three positions on the Executive Committee including two-year terms for a Treasurer and Vice President, and a one-year term for Vice President/President elect.
These candidates have accepted the following nominations:
• Treasurer (two-year term) – David Koenig, Capitol Fire & Security Inc, Madison, WI; Koenig is seeking re-election to this post.
• Vice President (two-year term) – Ralph Sevinor, Wayne Alarm Systems, Inc., Hamilton, MA
• Vice President/President Elect – Charles (Dom) D’Ascoli, Smoky Mountain Systems, Inc., Franklin, NC
Regular, multi-location or national company members in good standing may also nominate a member for consideration. For a nominee to be included on the election ballot for vote, the following conditions must be met:
• The candidate must have served on the Board of Directors or as a Committee Chairperson for one year and must be the primary or alternate representative of a regular, multi-location or national member company in good standing.
• The candidate must receive a minimum of 10 endorsements from the primary or alternate representative (voting member) of a regular, multi-location or national member company in good standing.
• All nominations, endorsements and the candidate’s acceptance must be received in writing and on the letterhead of the regular, multi-location or national member companies no later than April 24, 2009.
Nominations must contain the following information:
• Nominee’s name
• Nominee’s phone number
• Office for which nominee is being endorsed
• Nominator’s name
• Nominator’s phone number.
