SIAC Holds Annual Planning and Budget Meeting in Dallas
The Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC) recently held its annual planning and budget meeting at the ESA offices in Dallas. SIAC field personnel met to review and evaluate current field programs, prioritize suggested initiatives and planning for 2010.
ESA was honored to host the group for the two-day meeting in which SIAC laid out a plan of operations for 2010, a budget shortfall year.
Ron Walters, SIAC Director said, “Every effort will be made to maintain our historical levels of service to ESA members in areas where verified response is threatened.” The group also made a commitment that all state alarm committees, in cooperation with the International Association of Chiefs of Police, will remain a primary service for SIAC. And, Walters said, every attempt will be made to conduct as many educational sessions as manageable within the budget. However SIAC will attempt to insure that these sessions are well attended prior to making an investment.
“Our thanks go out to ESA for the gracious use of their facilities and for providing a wonderful lunch,” said Walters
