Customized Insurance Seminar
Announced for ISC West
Industry Insurance Expert to Present Free Seminar

Irving, Texas, March 7, 2006 – The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association, the nation's oldest and largest organization dedicated to representing, promoting, and supporting the electronic life safety, security and systems industry, today announced that insurance expert Richard Poling will provide a free insurance seminar at ISC West.

“A Customized Insurance Solution for the Security Alarm Industry” will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2006, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Venetian in Las Vegas. During the session, Poling, an insurance expert with Security America Risk Retention Group (SARRG), will discuss techniques designed to lower professional liability insurance costs, as well as non-insurance techniques, including contracts and business practices, claims examples and what processes and procedures could avoid those claims.

Individuals interested in obtaining continuing education (CEU) credits while attending ISC West, can take advantage of the seminar and earn NBFAA National Training School (NTS)-accredited CEU credits. Held during the NBFAA Spring Conference and Chartered State Association (CSA) Symposium April 2-6, 2006, this seminar is one of more than 80 classes scheduled for ISC. Many of the courses are NTS-accredited.

About NTS

Founded by NBFAA in 1985, NTS is the definitive training source for security professionals, providing the knowledge necessary to complete installations accurately and efficiently and prepare technicians for licensing through both classroom and online courses. The NTS education and training programs meet state licensing requirements in most states and assure competence in those who sell, monitor, install and service electronic systems.

About Security America

The Security America Risk Retention Group (SARRG) insurance program, launched by NBFAA in 2003 after two years of planning and research, is an affordable general liability/errors and omissions (E&O) insurance program designed and developed specifically to meet the needs of electronic life safety, security, and systems professionals. In 2004, NBFAA partnered with RiskCap, a 27-year veteran of risk management consulting services to handle the underwriting and marketing functions of the program. RiskCap works cooperatively with local brokers allowing members to maintain established relationships with their current broker and obtain coverage under SARRG. Providing the unique SARRG program as part of NBFAA’s member benefits package demonstrates the association’s dedication to providing quality, affordable business solutions to its members.
