The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association Announces Agreement with STAM Multimedia Inc
NBFAA Collaborates with STAM to Offer New Web-Based Training Courses
Irving, Texas, Oct. 7, 2005 - The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) has teamed with STAM Multimedia Inc. to offer Web-based training (WBT) courses on the latest security technology at a reduced rate to NBFAA members.
Dale Eller, NBFAA director of Education and Standards, said the courses allow the student to learn at his/her own pace and at any time.
“STAM has provided us a more convenient way to equip our members and students with the educational tools they need to broaden their professional horizons,” Eller said.
The courses available now are Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)-A Complete Review, Digital Video and Networking, Fiber Optics Technology and Biometrics Technology.
With the growing convergence of closed circuit video, access control, and Internet protocol (IP)-based systems, these courses provide the training that dealers need to install and/or service advanced integrated systems.
For more information about NBFAA and the association’s National Training School (NTS) offerings of both classroom and online courses, contact NTS at (866) 636-1687 or e-mail NTS@alarm.org. Course information is also available online at www.alarm.org.
