ESX Announces Industry Icebreaker Line-up

The Electronic Security Expo (ESX) announced its line-up for the Industry Icebreaker Luncheon, which will take place on Wednesday, June 24, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Nashville Convention Center.

The luncheon will open with a presentation from the Nashville chief of police, Ronal Serpas. Serpas, was appointed the sixth and youngest police chief in metropolitan government history in January 2004. He is now a 27-year law enforcement veteran. During Chief Serpas’ tenure in Nashville, overall major crime has fallen each year to levels not seen since 1989. He will discuss how the electronic security industry and police can work together more closely to improve service to the public.

Following the Chief’s presentation, Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC) executive director, Stan Martin, will present the annual William N. Moody Leadership Award. The award recognizes outstanding individual contributions and vision in achieving dispatch reduction through coordinated efforts with national and state (or provincial) law enforcement leadership.

Closing out the program will be a hilarious stand-up comedy act from Pete Correale, a regular on The Tonight Show, The David Letterman Show, The Carson Daly Show and Comedy Central.

Bring the team! ESX is a great experience for the entire team — owners and top execs, technical/ops managers and lead techs, central station managers, sales and marketing managers and others.
