ESX

State of the ESX from President George P. Gunning

I wanted to give you an update on the Electronic Security Expo being held in Nashville in June. The NBFAA and the Central Station Alarm Association have created a fantastic conference that you won’t want to miss. ESX 2008 is the only event targeted exclusively to the needs of the security integration and monitoring companies. NBFAA is also combining its summer conference with ESX 2008, so you can easily attend all the great NBFAA events.

The conference is Wednesday, June 25 through Friday, June 27. The expo is open June 26 and 27. NBFAA meetings and activities begin Monday, June 23.

Here’s just a sampling of some of the NBFAA activities at ESX 2008:

  • NBFAA Weinstock and Jackson Awards Tuesday, June 24
  • NBFAA general membership meeting Wednesday, June 25
  • ESX Big Bash Celebrating NBFAA'S 60-Year Legacy of Leadership Thursday, June 26 - includes a performance by country music star Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives
  • More than 50 seminars in seven tracks - all approved for NBFAA/NTS CEUs

The host chapter, TBFAA is also hosting some events
you won’t want to miss:

  • TBFAA skeet shoot Tuesday, June 24
  • TBFAA club crawl along Nashville's famous Broadway Avenue Thursday, June 26
  • TBFAA annual membership meeting Friday, June 27

Other activities and programs include:

  • The ESX keynote address
  • The ESX expo floor showcasing the latest electronic security products
  • The ESX All-Star Performance Workshops
  • Special security tours
  • The Rising Stars and Next Generation Leaders Luncheon Forums
  • The ESX Industry Ice-Breaker Luncheon
  • The SDM 100 Gala

There are great registration discounts for NBFAA members. Register by May 30 and take advantage of the early-bird discounts and the FREE expo pass. Sign up three or more people at the same time for even greater savings. To register, go to www.esxweb.com or call 866-891-7239.

There’s something for everyone at ESX 2008. See you there!

Sincerely,
George P. Gunning
President
