Book Vegas Rooms Early to Get Group Rate

Members planning to attend this year’s NBFAA Spring Conference and the ISC West Event should book their hotel rooms early to receive the discounted group rate.

NBFAA has reserved a block of rooms at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. In order to receive the group rate of $159 per night you must mention that you are attending the NBFAA conference and pay a deposit prior to the cut off date of March 1. Please note this rate does not apply to online reservations. You must call or fax your reservation. NBFAA guests may telephone directly to the Treasure Island Reservation Department at (888) 503-8999. Reservations requests may also be faxed to (702) 894-7482.

These rooms are on a first-come, first-serve basis and once the room block is full, NBFAA cannot guarantee the group rate or availability. So make your plans now; sign up for the NBFAA Spring Conference and reserve your room with Treasure Island.

NBFAA’s 2007 Spring Conference will kick off Sunday, March 25. Here are some of the key events you won’t want to miss:

AIREF Golf Without Guilt

On Tuesday, March 27, 2007 – the day before the start of the 2007 ISC West Expo – NBFAA presents the fourth annual day of Golf without Guilt! Based on experience from the last three tournaments, everyone who signs up will have a relaxing and enjoyable day on one of Las Vegas’ premiere golf courses. The Revere Golf Club (www.reveregolf.com) is owned and managed by Troon Golf, the leader in upscale golf course management. The Revere presents a blend of beauty and challenge unlike any other in Southern Nevada. The tournament will be followed by a post play cocktail reception in the clubhouse and The Evening Event.

The Evening Event

The Evening Event offers an exciting way to get your show-week off to a great start. Hosted at Treasure Island’s Kahunaville, it will include heavy hors d’oeuvres and two hours of open bar. As the climax of the evening, the prestigious Morris F. Weinstock and Sara E. Jackson Awards will be presented to two dedicated industry individuals.

(First Annual) Shootin’ Skeet

This new event will be held Tuesday, March 27 at the Las Vegas Gun Club. With 14 trap fields, two skeet fields, a 10 station sporting clays course and two wobble trap fields, as well as a stocked pro shop and restaurant and bar, the Las Vegas Gun Club is the premier shooting facility in Southern Nevada. Shootin' Skeet will be followed by a post play cocktail reception and The Evening Event.

Leadership Symposium

The Leadership Symposium begins Sunday, March 25 at Treasure Island with the Chapter Workshop, followed by a Member Reception. Also included in the Symposium are committee meetings, the board of directors meeting, and the annual Awards Luncheon on Monday.

(First Annual) General Session/Breakfast

This event features a general session and breakfast for NBFAA members and will open up to all ISC West attendees with a keynote speaker or panel of industry experts. It will be held on Thursday, March 29 from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. during the ISC West show.

In addition to these worthwhile and fun events, members won’t want to miss out on the many opportunities for industry-related training, seminars, discussions and networking during both the NBFAA meetings and ISC West.
