Electronic Systems Technician Program

ATI Technical Training Center located at 6627 Maple Ave, Dallas, Texas 75235, is in the process of developing an Electronic Systems Technician program. As part of this effort, ATI is looking for Program Advisory Committee members for this new program. A Program Advisory Committee (PAC) is a group of individuals with experience and expertise representing a cross-section of a particular field. The primary purpose of the PAC is to help the institution ensure that its training and equipment is current and relevant to occupational practices and requirements. The Committee also communicates the occupational needs of the community in which the school is located in order to ensure the school’s students are taught the skills required by employers. The program will use as its basis the curriculum developed by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and will include all four levels of this curriculum from “Introductory Craft Skills” to “Systems Integration, Commissioning and User Training.”

NBFAA members in the Dallas area interested in participating as a PAC member for this new
program may contact Mike Chase, ATI’s Curriculum Manager at: mchase@atienterprises.edu
or call (817) 557-3337.
