NBFAA Launches New Member Get A Member Campaign
Individual Contest Awards Members for Recruiting Others

Irving, Texas, Jan. 30, 2006 – The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) is challenging its members with the launch of the Mission Possible: Member Get A Member Campaign which began this month and runs until June 16, 2006.

Between now and June 16, members are encouraged to recruit and sponsor new members. Every time an individual signs up a new member, the sponsor’s name will be entered into a drawing to win a mini-vacation. The person who recruits the most new members will win a Grand Prize trip for two.

NBFAA’s Membership Committee Chairman Marshall Marinace said the campaign’s objective is to increase the influence of the association and to engage members. “The more members we have, the more industry professionals we represent, and the more consumers and businesses our members serve, the more influence we have in working with state and national legislative officials. So as we grow our membership, we are better able to support and promote our members. At the same time, campaigns that engage our members help strengthen their understanding of, and commitment to, the association,” he said.

Senior Director of Business Development Tonja Jenkins added, “This is a fun and simple way to grow our membership and our influence. If every member would set a goal of recruiting just one company, we would double in size, and whether they win a prize or not, all current members gain from the added strength of the association.”

The Mission Possible: Member Get A Member Campaign Grand Prize is a four-day, three-night stay at a Las Vegas Hotel of choice, golf for two at the Revere Golf Club, two round-trip airline tickets and two tickets to any Las Vegas show. Additional prize drawings will include a mini-vacation for two to Las Vegas. Sponsors for the campaign include: The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Gold-level sponsor, and the Revere Golf Club, Silver-level sponsor.
