NBFAA Leadership Awards Breakfast

You will not want to miss THE only NBFAA award event for 2008!  Sign up today for the Annual Leadership Awards Breakfast and learn who will be recognized.  NBFAA will honor its volunteer and staff leaders with the following awards:  Chapter President; Executive Director; Chapter Newsletter; NTS Training Coordinator; NTS Instructor and Chapter of the Year awards.  In addition, NBFAA President George Gunning will announce his President’s Award winner for 2008.  Other volunteer leaders, whose committee terms are ending, will also be honored for their hard work and dedication to NBFAA and the industry.  This is your opportunity to help honor the teamwork, commitment and perseverance of your peers. 

TBFAA Skeet Shoot

Looking for a great bang for your buck? Then the TBFAA Skeet Shoot at ESX is the event for you! Enjoy a relaxing afternoon the day before the show starts on Tuesday, June 24, 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Transportation will be provided to and from the Renaissance Hotel. So come try your hand for the first time – or show off your excellent marksmanship.

NBFAA Weinstock and Jackson Awards

Country Music Hall of Fame

The highlight of the 2008 awards is the presentation of the annual Morris F. Weinstock Person of the Year award and the Sara E. Jackson Memorial Award.

This nationally acclaimed award is considered the most prestigious honor in the electronic security and life safety industry. First presented in 1970, the award was initiated by the family of Morris F. Weinstock to honor the lifetime work of the NBFAA co-founder and past president.

Honoring the memory of 1950-51 NBFAA President Sara E. Jackson, this distinguished award is given annually to the NBFAA committee chair who displays outstanding leadership.

ESX Big Bash – Celebrating NBFAA’s 60-year Legacy of Leadership

Location: Renaissance - Grand Ballroom

The ESX Big Bash celebrating NBFAA’s 60th Anniversary is flat-out the best electronic security industry party of the year. Initial festivities include mixing and mingling over open bar and hors d’oeuvres.

The final act is an awesome, nightclub-style concert featuring country music star Marty Stuart. All concludes in time for your dinner plans after the bash and the Thursday Night Club Crawl.

TBFAA Club Crawl
Thursday, June 26
Begins immediately after the Big Bash

After the 60th Anniversary Big Bash featuring Marty Stuart, the TBFAA would like to share with you a night on the town in the Historic Lower Broadway night club district. The Club Crawl will feature several spots, including the world famous Tootsies Orchid lounge. Most of country music’s stars got their start at these clubs, and you will be amazed at the level of talent on any given night. Everyone is welcome and party favors will be provided.
